Hey guys, this is Alanna. I'm finally back in town after being
skidaddled from Florida to Georgia to Memphis for 2 days to Chicago.
It's good to be home, even though I'll be leaving shortly again. Summer
is a strange time, with everyone in and out all the time. But somehow
we managed to get a band practice together today for the first time in
forever -- including Hunter, our brilliant drummer! It was quite
exciting. No one can deny that they have missed that backbeat in the SV
music.
So I know sent an email out about this show a few weeks ago but I'm
just reminding everyone about it because it's going to be AWESOME. As
stated, Hunter will be performing with us so all the old songs will
sound a bit different. Plus we'll have some new ones to throw out. Then
the Mutant Space Bats of Doom (also featuring Hunter) will play for the
first time in... a year? more? It's been too long, we can all admit
that. I know I told you guys last time that Lightajo would play after
that but our faithful show buddies cancelled and instead will be
replaced by a random assortment of cool dudes doing some improv type
stuff. Hunter will be playing in that too, along with two of the guys
from Lightajo and some other people who I don't know. It should be
great fun for everyone. Let us know if you need any more info... We're
always around.
