While the title to this message made less than a bit of sense, I am
doing my best to perform my job as message-bringer and
information-spreader for Scandaliz Vandalistz. Katherine and Alice are
currently touring Germany... with the Memphis Youth Symphony, not as a
rock band. With the girls out of the city, what could I do but get
away? I'm sitting here in the middle of nowhere... very very rural
south Georgia. Nowhere is no exaggeration. So I'm shaking off a sunburn
and rejoicing in the first computer contact I've had for a couple
weeks. Hello faithful friends. I hope you are all doing well. The only
real upcoming news I have for you is to inform/remind you of our
upcoming show on JULY 1! A big reunion show in a big way. Not only will
it occurr only a day or so after I get back to town, but it will also
be our first live show EVER to perform with infamous drummer Hunter
Deacon, who has been sorely missed. In addition to that, the Mutant
Space Bats of Doom will also be playing, and everyone knows how long
it's been since they've played a show together, let alone been in the
same room. The excitement will continue when we are joined by our old
favorite, Lightajo.
I'm telling you this way in advance so that you can mark your calendars
now. There are no acceptable excuses for missing this one, kiddos.
