SVG packing updates & request

Dear sadh sangat jio,
Many thanks to a dozen of kind sevadaars who took their time & came help today for the sake of Our gurdwara sahib, Our home, we were able to begin & complete certain tasks ie cleaning, packing, organizing.
We still need more willing hands to help especially during week of 12/18 onwards in preparation for first day of gurdwara. Please sign up on spreadsheet. There is also one posted on langar hall board.
As of today, here are the updates:
* supply closet:
Packed, taped, & boxed. All located inside bathroom #1
* khalsa school cabinet:
Sorted & organized inside locked cabinet
* 2 refrigerators:
Cleaned & scrubbed inside & out
* kitchen:
Trashed & threw all junk;
Organized pots & pans, utensils to be transported on 12/18.
* shoe room:
Cleaned out, bagged, sorted
* donate to goodwill & salvation army charities:
Lots of items not needed were donated & got rid of.
* trash room:
Threw all aluminium trays (uneco-friendly & waste)
ATTENTION:
SVG continues to receive lots of the following. Please REFRAIN from bringing more of these to SVG for the time being till further notice.
We will give them away if you insist:
* SUGAR!!!!!
* ATTA/ flour
* more pots & pans or utensils of any kind.
Please donate to your local charities instead of dropping them at SVG. The new SVG location doesn't have much space to store & we do NOT want any COCKROACH INFESTATION!!! It is a serious public health concern.
We greatly appropriate your cooperation & understanding.
