Position: CRM Integration Specialist

• Department: Office of Business & Entrepreneurship (OBE)
• Location: 100% Remote
• Duration: 6 Months
• Hours: 20 Hours/Week (Part-Time)
• Preferred Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Interview: Zoom/Microsoft Teams (Camera ON)
• Interview Duration: 45 Minutes – 1 Hour
• Wisconsin Residency: Not Required
• Open To: Nationwide Candidates

Position Overview

The University of Wisconsin System Administration is seeking a CRM Integration Specialist to review, optimize, and support an existing Zoho implementation. The consultant will identify critical issues, recommend improvements, implement enhancements, and ensure long-term enterprise supportability.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Zoho product suite, including:
  • Zoho CRM
  • Zoho Campaigns
  • Zoho Backstage
  • Zoho Analytics
• 3+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing Zoho customizations.
• Strong experience with Deluge scripting language.
• Minimum 3+ years of JavaScript development experience.
• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining XML files based on defined standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess the current Zoho implementation.
• Identify critical issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and execute action plans to enhance functionality and usability.
• Design, test, and implement system updates and customizations.
• Collaborate with OBE leadership and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure all solutions align with Zoho standards and improve enterprise supportability.

Project Background

The Office of Business & Entrepreneurship previously implemented several Zoho tools with assistance from an external vendor to support partnerships between Universities of Wisconsin campuses and businesses across the state. The current implementation requires remediation and optimization. The selected specialist will evaluate the environment, recommend strategic improvements, implement technical enhancements, and provide operational guidance to support long-term success.
