Department of Mechanical Engineering, Mohan Babu University organized an Awareness Program on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) with special Emphasis on “Mechanical and Civil Related Inventions” in collaboration with the National Intellectual Property Rights Awareness Mission (NIPAM), Govt. of India on 20th April, 2023.
The resource person Mr. Randhir kumar, Examiner-Patents & Designs (Group A, Gazette), Indian Patent Office, Chennai, created an awareness on intellectual property rights play in protecting and promoting innovation in mechanical engineering. Patents, industrial designs, and copyrights provide legal protection for different aspects of a product or invention and allow the inventor or creator to profit from their innovation.
