The 3rd GLOSITH Conference
10 – 12 November 2023
Macau, China
I am delighted to announce that the 3rd Global Congress of Special Interest Tourism & Hospitality (GloSITH) conference will be held at the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) in Macau between 10 - 12 November 2023 (Friday to Sunday). The due date of submitting your abstract is extended to 5 October 2023. There is no need to submit your full paper by the conference dates.
The GLOSITH conference invites attendees from academia, industry, government, and other organizations to exchange and develop state-of-the-art research and case studies in special interest tourism. And, while the official language of the conference is English, the 'Greater Bay Area session' in the conference will allow delegates to present their papers in Chinese. This opportunity could also help delegates to present their research contents and to communicate with other delegates more naturally.
Several ‘best paper’ awards will be made at the conference, and these will be expedited into the review process of the International Journal of Tourism Research (SSCI; impact factor 4.6). The keynote speakers of the conference include the Editors-in-Chief of the top two tourism journals worldwide (Prof. Sara Dolnicar of Annals of Tourism Research), and (Prof. Cathy Hsu of Tourism Management).
Once you submit a 300-500 word abstract in English, you don't need to submit a full paper. You are just required to present your paper at the conference.
We invite submissions that cover many research areas within the global spectrum of tourism, hospitality, and leisure, including but not limited to:
· Management and marketing in tourism, hospitality, leisure, event, gambling, and sports;
· Case studies on tourism, hospitality, and leisure marketing and management practices;
· Development of conceptual models in tourism, hospitality, and leisure;
· Innovation and product development in tourism, hospitality, and leisure;
· Methodological issues in tourism, hospitality, and leisure.

Deadline for submission of Abstract (300-500 words): 5 October 2023.
Notice of acceptance: by 10 October 2023.
Last day for early-bird registration: 15 October 2023.

Regular registration for a student (from 16 Oct): US$220*.
Early-bird registration for academics/practitioners (by 15 Oct): US$240*.
