Dear outstanding researchers in the fields of tourism, hospitality, leisure, and business management
As the new Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Tourism Research, I would like to express my appreciation for the great efforts and dedication of all previous editorial board team members, especially Prof. John Fletcher, who contributed to building IJTR to its current prestigious level.
With your help, I would like to conduct a massive restructuring process to lead the journal to a higher level. First of all, I would like to call for applications for editorial board members as seen in the attachment to this message.
For your information, the IJTR has been published by John Wiley and Sons in the United Kingdom for nearly three decades and around 1,200 papers are submitted to the journal per year. There are more than 10 international indexes this journal is already listed in, with the main ones as follows:
· Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI, impact factor 4.6 in 2022),
· Scopus (Q1)
· Journal Citation Reports (JCR, Q2)
· Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC, tier A)
