Dear outstanding researchers in the tourism/hospitality disciplines
We are delighted to announce that the 4th Global Congress of Special Interest Tourism & Hospitality (the 4th GloSITH) conference will be held at the Xiamen University in Xiamen City, Fujian Province, China between 7 to 9 Nov 2025.

The GLOSITH conference invites attendees from academia, industry, government, and other organizations to exchange and develop state-of-the-art research and case studies in special interest tourism. And, while the official language of the conference is English, the 'Chinese session' in the conference will allow delegates to present their papers in Chinese.
Around 40 ‘Outstanding Papers’ will be awarded at the conference, and these will be expedited into the review process in the leading SSCI journals in the tourism/hospitality to be published by 31 Dec 2025: they are
International Journal of Tourism Research (Impact factor 5.7; at least 20 papers will be published out of this conference papers)
Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management (Impact factor 7.8; To be decided)
Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Technology (Impact factor 6.9; at least 5 papers)
Journal of Sustainable Tourism (Impact factor 7.8; 10 papers in the special issue “Tourism and Political Consumption: Philosophies, Practices and Policies”).
For Chinese papers, at least 5 Outstanding Papers will be awarded and published in fast track in Tourism Science ( 旅游科学).
We invite submissions that cover many research areas within the global spectrum of tourism, hospitality, and leisure, including but not limited to:
- Management and marketing in tourism, hospitality, leisure, event, gambling, and sports;
- Case studies on tourism, hospitality, and leisure marketing and management practices;
- Development of conceptual models in tourism, hospitality, and leisure;
- Innovation and product development in tourism, hospitality, and leisure;
- Methodological issues in tourism, hospitality, and leisure.
