Runners of all levels welcomed! Come be a part of Run Club: Fellowship + Fun + Fit at the weekly Monday evening runs. After the run meet us at Whole Food Market (4004 Bellaire Blvd Houston, TX 77025) where there will be plenty of healthy food options and a wide variety of your favorite adult drinks. Run Club: Fellowship + Fun + Fit: Aims to build camaraderie among fellow runners of all levels and to be a place that encourages runners to achieve goals through a supportive community.

Daring to Walk the Walk, the first series of Walking Toward Eternity, introduces seven key virtues and outlines practical steps for living them out in daily life.

Rosary for Life

Saturday, September 21st + Planned Parenthood Public Sidewalk+ 4600 Gulf Freeway + 77023 + 10:00pm

 

Join us as we go to pray outside of Planned Parenthood to build a culture of life. Don't forget to bring your rosary and remember to maintain a positive, prayerful attitude as we pray for the women, children, families, abortion workers, and everyone who is affected by abortion.

For those interested, we will meet at 9:30am at St. Vincent's and carpool to Planned Parenthood.

Otherwise we will see you at Planned Parenthood Gulf Freeway location (4600 Gulf Freeway + Houston, TX + 77023) at 10am.  +++ PLEASE PARK ALONG THE PUBLIC STREET +++

Afterwards, we will go for a bite to eat for some fellowship.

St. Vincent de Paul Women’s ACTS Retreat April 3rd-6th, 2014

We are going to host our very own Women’s Acts retreat! At this retreat you will take time away from your busy schedule to be with the Lord.  You will have the opportunity to hear some amazing talks, build lasting friendships, and deepen your prayer life.  Mark this date on your calendar, and look for more details to come!

 

Linens Team Volunteers Needed

Are you able to set aside five hours a month to help serve God? That’s all the time you would need to be a part of the Linens Team which plays an important behind-the- scenes role in the Eucharistic Liturgy. If you receive Communion at any of our 72+Masses each month, you’ve benefited from the activity of this Team. Members choose one time a month to pick-up, cleanse, wash, iron and return the small altar linens (handkerchief size). We have openings for 2-3volunteers and can work within your schedule of availability. Contact Susan Massey, cell (713) 822-7044.

The Catholic Chaplain Corps - Pastoral Assistants Formation Training

The Catholic Chaplain Corps (CCC) of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston provides pastoral and sacramental ministry for patients in the Texas Medical Center and other selected Houston area hospitals. A very important part of the Corps Ministry is offered through the Pastoral Assistants (PA). The PA formation process is one year in length. If you are interested in learning more about being a
