Mother’s Day!

Mother’s Day cards are available.  Remember your mother, living or deceased, on Mother’s Day, May 12, with special Mass Intention cards that are available at all Church entrances. All Masses will be offered for mothers on Mother’s Day.

As we honor our mothers this day, let us not forget our heavenly mother who loves us and intercedes for us.

Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that

anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine

intercession was left unaided.  Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee,

O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand,

sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,

but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Amen.

Sts. Nereus and Achilleus, pray for us!

Sea of Red
Sunday May 19, is the great Feast of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit appeared over the disciples in the form of tongues of fire. A wonderful way to celebrate this feast is to have all WEAR RED TO MASS. SO I INVITE AND ENCOURAGE ALL PARISHIONERS TO WEAR RED FOR THE FEAST OF PENTECOST on MAY 19, 2013.  It’s a small way to join the priests, deacons and servers to show a sense of community and festivity. Let us see a Sea of Red! A thousand celebrating in red will be a real sign of Church for all of us.   –Msgr. Bill
