...MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN LATER TODAY INTO WEDNESDAY... AFTER A STRETCH OF MOSTLY DRY AND MILD WEATHER...A POTENT SPRING STORM WILL BRING WINDY AND THEN WET WEATHER.  THE STORM WILL ARRIVE TODAY AND THEN WILL PERSIST THROUGH MUCH OF THE DAY ON WEDNESDAY BEFORE MOVING TO THE EASTWARD. THIS STORM WILL BRING RAIN AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES TO AREAS WEST OF THE MARBLE MOUNTAINS IN SISKIYOU COUNTY...FROM THE COASTAL MOUNTAINS WESTWARD IN JOSEPHINE AND CURRY COUNTIES...AND 1 TO 2 INCHES IN MOST OF COOS COUNTY.  LOCAL RAIN AMOUNTS IN THE COASTAL CURRY COUNTY MOUNTAINS COULD BE IN EXCESS OF 3 INCHES.  THE PERIOD OF HEAVIEST RAIN WILL BE LATE THIS EVENING THROUGH LATE WEDNESDAY MORNING. PLEASE SEE THE HIGH WIND WARNING AND FORECASTS FOR DETAILS RELATED TO WINDS.

Rain coupled with the warmer temperatures can easily lead to widespread or localized flooding.  If you live or work in an area which may be prone to this, be prepared.  Have sandbags and/or pump(s) ready if possible.  Be ready should you suddenly need to evacuate the area.  Always have at least a half tnk of fuel in your vehicle.
