Hope you all are doing good.
Am sure that all of you would have already booked your tickets and are all geared up for your travel to Chennai.
We are mentioning some important points before for your benefit prior to your joining us.
1. The place of posting for the 1st year will be at Chennai (either at the Thiruvottiyur or Oragadam Plant)
2. The Date of Joining will be 1st July (as mentioned in your respective offer letters. No change in this). You all are supposed to report to the Royal Enfield Thiruvottiyur plant, on the said date with all your original documents, certificates and the pre-employment medical checkup documents. Please bring your recent passport size photographs (7 Nos) along.
3. You all can avail the guest house accommodation from the 29th onwards for 15 days. You should reach Chennai max to max by June 30th evening. This is required such that, you all are on time on the 1st of July, for the Induction and orientation and joining formalities.
4. Please send in a mailer by tomorrow the 24th morning w.r.t the people who would need guest house accommodation – very important and will help us in planning better.
5. You all will have to search for your own rented accommodations within the 15 day time period. People who are from Chennai will not be availing the facility and are required to travel to and fro from their respective homes.
6. You will be reimbursed your travel fare for coming to Chennai from your respective base locations up to 2nd AC train fare.
7. You are supposed to alight at the Chennai Central railway station. Once you reach the station, you may catch autos from the prepaid auto counters (found right outside the station as you walk out. You need to take a right turn as soon as you come out of the platforms 1-5). You get prepaid taxis and buses also. If you wish to avail a call taxi service, please call just dial 08888888888, to fetch you with the numbers for call taxis.
