Technology change continues to accelerate at a pace that leaves many people bewildered. Smartphones have changed the way people live and connect, cloud software means that any business can access powerful applications at minimal cost and social allows businesses to build communities that become your marketing arm. On top of that we are seeing an explosion of innovation around wearable technologies from Google Glasses to the Pebble Smart watches and Fitbits, as well as a plethora of new payment technologies such as Tap and Go, Amazon payments and Bitcoin.
This change provides great opportunities for businesses of all sizes; the question is how do I take advantage of it?. Pete Williams, the Chief Edge Officer from Deloitte Centre for the Edge will take you through what is happening but also how to take advantage of it.
