In spite4 of our efforts, Fair Point (the telephone company that took
over from Verizon) is taking its sweet time about hooking up our new
T1. The last I heard was that they would install on or before Sept.
23.
We are brainstorming to see if we can come up with a stop-gap
solution, such as beaming a "back haul" signal from the last telephone
pole up to Blake's, where the new T1 will reside. I'll keep you
informed about progress.

Peter,
Don't take it personally... I'm hearing all maner of stories about
Fair Point at work regarding missed deadlines and poor service, with
little in the way of options to get them motivated.
