Dear Brothers,
I'd been to the Family Vacation Camp (FVC) for the last two years and
it strengthen our marriage and give us a new perspective on family.
When we went the first time, my son were 4 and my daughter were one
and a half (she used to cry her lung out when we left her to another
care taker). However, the nursery dept took great care of my kids so
my wife and I could finally sit and enjoy the seminar together. If you
have very young kids at home, you know what I am talking about. Now
two years later my son is going to 1st grade and my daughter is in pre-
school, they are looking forward to this yearly event. It is also well
known that FVC has a comprehensive program for students from K to G12.
You get to meet Christian family from all over bay area, Sacramento
and even Seattle. As a man, husband and father, I sincerely urge that
you do you wife and kids as well as yourself a favor, and take
advantage of this opportunity if you have not done it yet. Please use

Greetings!
The Family Vacation Camp (FVC), sponsored by Chinese Family for
Christ, is less than 2 months away. We are very grateful for God’s
love and faithfulness in blessing the camper families in the past 17
years. Rosa and I have been attending the camp for the last 13 years.
We are glad we have decided to dedicate a few days in a year to grow
in the area of family relationships. We are empty-nesters now. But
looking back, FVC is the best investment in our lives that brings
about lasting values. We are very grateful to God for using the camp
to build up our marriage, help us with our parenting, and give our
family a place to serve together with brothers and sisters from
different churches. FVC has been a highlight for our family for the
last 13 years.
During the camps, we witnessed the power of the Holy Spirit through
changed lives, strengthened marriages, and breakthrough in inter-
generational relationships. There were many young people who dedicated
their lives to the Lord; couples who learned practical parenting and
communication skills; parents spending time with children and bonding
with each other; sweet fellowship among friends, and a relaxing time
to get close to God…
Our speakers for this year are Pastor Wing-Yui So, Professor Ted Hsieh
and Dr. Doris So. They had been previous FVC speakers, and we had been
richly blessed by their inspiring and practical messages and
workshops. We especially appreciate Pastor So’s inspiring and
challenging messages drawn from his rich spiritual and life
experiences, Dr. So’s teaching on parenting and dealing with emotions,
and Professor Hsieh’s messages and workshops relating to ABCs and
OBCs, and parenting and marriage relationships. We also have special
programs for each age group, from babies to high school.
Due to popular demand, we have been having two identical camps back to
back near the July 4th weekend for the last 3 years. In past years, we
had long waiting lists for the camps. This year, because of the
economic situation, we still have some opening in the first camp and a
few limited spaces reserved for those who absolutely can only attend
the second camp.
The camp dates for this year are:
Camp1: June 26 – June 30
Camp2: July 1 – July 5
Rosa & I highly recommend this camp to you, and we hope you will be
able to join the camp. You and your family will truly be blessed and
