Invitation business-talk Thursday lunch - 17 September – Marketing topic

Dear alumni in SVA-BOM,

In lunch of Thursday 17 September, school organizes a business talk topic “the opportunities and challenges of Marketing in Vietnam in the coming years”, we would like to invite you to participate in this discussion.

This is in a series of events to celebrate 20th anniversary of our master program in Vietnam, the monthly business-talk with various topics aims to share the knowledge of SBSem professors combined with expertise of our alumni and experts and deliver a very practical handbook on the subjects at end of this year.

¾     Format: workshop

¾     Time: 11.30 - 14.00-Thursday 17/09

¾     Venue: to be confirmed

¾     Fee: 150.000VND/pax (for your lunch and soft drink)

¾     Agenda: Introduce topic and share points of view from Prof. Jean-Pierre Baeyens and Mr Ho Cong Hoai Phuong; discuss among participants and have lunch, then wrap up by professor.

Professor Jean-Pierre Baeyens is professor of Business Administration at Université Libre de Bruxelles where he holds the Chair of Marketing at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management and the Ecole Polytechnique. His specializations are strategic and international marketing management. He also founded the Centre of Excellence in  Marketing of Art & Culture (ARTketing).  He was the Dean of  Solvay Brussels School  Master’s programs In Vietnam from 2008 to 2012 and the Academic Director of Solvay Brussels School Advanced Master in Creativity Marketing from 2013 to 2015.

Prof. Jean-Pierre Baeyens is also teaching in several executive education programs and is a personal advisor for various company leaders.

Mr. Ho Cong Hoai Phuong is alumnus in 5th intake of our master in marketing management.

In current position as strategic planning manager in Dentsu Alpha, he supports clients from various sectors to manage and improve marketing plan, media campaign, and other market issues. From June 2012, he is also a founder and trainer at Aiim ad school, with school’s mission is helping young executive do a better job in their agency he created and coached the very first digital strategic planning course for AiiM.
