NOTE: We are *not* meeting this Wednesday on our normal meeting night
due to a room scheduling conflict at Google. We are meeting at the
same time and place though next Wednesday, November 12th. If you have
not already done so, you can register in advance here:

http://sv-gtug-11.eventbrite.com/

With a new generation of high-powered browsers, like Chrome, it is
possible to deliver native applications on the web that look and feel
like the desktop. SproutCore is a new JavaScript framework that makes
it easy to harness this power in your own software. It currently
powers the desktop-like web applications at Apple's MobileMe service
among many others. During this talk, Charles Jolley will show you how
to use the Cocoa-inspired SproutCore framework along with Google App
Engine and Chrome to deliver a desktop-like experience on the web.

REMINDER: There is an opportunity for our members to do Lightning
Demos of 5 minutes or less during the networking hour each time we
meet. Please contact Van Riper (van....@gmail.com) to make
arrangements in advance to do this.

Cheers, Van
