However, we will definitely be meeting on Wednesday, October 1st, at
our regular time/place. Chris Schalk will be giving a talk on the
Googles Ajax APIs:

Next Wednesday, the group leadership will meet over dinner to do
further meeting planning for the rest of this year. Anyone that would
like to join us is welcome to do so. We will be meeting for dinner in
downtown Mountain View. Please email me directly (van....@gmail.com)
to get the time and restaurant name. We will also discuss plans for
the upcoming Silicon Valley Code Camp at Foothill College on November
8-9:

I would like to encourage everyone to register to attend this Code
Camp. It was a great developer community event last year, and it is
shaping up to be even bigger and better this year. I'll be leading
lightning talk sessions where you can give 5 minute or less technology
demos. Bess Ho is organizing a Hackathon for Kids with the help and
support of several Googlers. Also, anyone that fills out the free
registration in advance for camp can also submit their own technical
session to present at the camp. The camp is still two months away and
we already have 350 people registered to attend and more than 60
technical sessions submitted:
