Although I'm a loyal reader, and infrequent poster, I can't keep wading through "teen pussy" posts. Does whoever runs the group want to end it and transfer us to a new group? Or shall I just unsubscribe? Is that what everyone else has done?

That's what I do.
Not sure I want to go through a big change of ending the group and starting a new one.

That makes sense. I haven't been getting many "teen" posts -- just a
few. Although there seems to be a majority of them as opposed to regular
posts.

I'm happy to say I've never received any teen pussy/porn spam related to this group.  So I don't know what you're talking about.  I'm on a Macintosh using the Apple Mail application, which I think of as fairly passive.  But maybe Mail protects me?  I have no clue how that would be possible.  Seems unlikely.  Apple applications usually don't do things without letting the user participate and choose.

Anyway, good luck fixing the problem.

I use Gmail, which has a very good filter. I tried other filters, but
too much spam got through. Gmail is better at it. If 50 (or whatever
the threshold) people mark an email as spam, then that email is either
not delivered or auto-deleted.

Gmail isn't perfect; there's other problems with it, but spam isn't one of them.

Hardly any coming to me either, at least not from this list. That's
using the gmail web client. I think it does something Bayesian in the
background that works pretty well.

I've received one and didn't connect it to the SV_WEB group.
