Hi Team,

I had a great time volunteering at IMLT Practice Weekend. Thank you to all the volunteer staff that put this together and those that were out there supporting the participants. To all of the participants great job and efforts by each and everyone of you to do what you could. Hope that you took something away from that workout to build on for Event day.

For those that stayed close to home… we missed you and hope the Coaches provided you with several options for a workout around the area.

Well here we are on the last stretch for VINEMAN, it has been a short 8 months. Taper period is approaching, you all have come along way and I want to see you all cross the finish line. Don’t over do it or do anything crazy.

Here is some updates…

Important Dates:

*** All Training Dates and Workouts will be communicated by your Head Coach, Assistant Coach or Training Captains. Please watch for emails.

· Next Monday, July 1^st FINAL FUNDRAISING DEADLINE: Vineman Full Triathlon

· If you are not at your minimum Commitment by this date, a credit card charge will be processed in the amount up to your minimum Commitment level to the credit card that you provided on your Commitment paperwork.

· LLS/TNT will pull you from your event if you are not at your minimum or if we have problems with processing payments.

· July 20^th or 21^stSend Off for VINEMAN

· Watch for an email from your Coaches for a confirmed date and location.

· July 25^th – July 28^th VINEMAN Event Weekend

Connection to the Cause:

Every dollar you raise makes a difference… those affected with blood cancers.

· $1,000 Supports one week’s salary for a medical researcher at UCSF, Stanford, or Berkeley who may discover key information to developing curative treatments for blood cancers.

· $500 Allows 10 patients to log on to a web cast and hear the latest information in treatment for their disease.

· $500 Cost of a CT scan.

· $200 Provides a Family Support Group Program for one year for a patient and their family.

· $150 Allows 5 patients to make a First Connection with a trained peer volunteer.

· $150 Provides a blood cancer patient with financial assistance for one year.

· $100 Provides 3 patients access to an information teleconference.

· $75 Average cost of tissue typing to become a bone marrow donor.

· $40 Cost of sending a comprehensive packet of information for children with cancer.

· $35 Pays for transportation expenses for a patient living in Northern California’s most rural areas to treatment at a comprehensive cancer center.

· $25 Covers a single prescription co-payment.

· $5 Cost of sending a newly diagnosed patient information about support & their disease.

Hi Iron Peeps,

Hope that you are all having a great 4^th of July. Just wanted to give you some updates. Final fundraising deadline for Vineman has past and Kerry and Gaylene will be making the necessary charges in the next week or so to bring you to your Commitment amounts if you are not there.

We are on a mission to cure cancer…no donation is to small. Remember you can continue fundraising up to, during and even after your Event as your websites remain active for up to 30 days after you have completed your event.

If I don’t see you before then… I will see you on the 21^st of July at Send Off for our Vineman Participants.
