Wrap Up Party

Hi Iron Staff,

After sending out the location for the Wrap up party I rethought the idea. I looked into Seacliff beach again and realized that there is limited parking and late arrivals will have to park at the top of the hill and walk down 153 stairs to locate our picnic area, and no alcohol permitted. So my alternative idea is Vasona Park which is local and kid friendly. Plenty of parking and alcohol and pets permitted. What do you think???? I can call tomorrow to try and book a reservation or there are plenty of open picnic areas. I would like to keep Oct. 5th at 11:00am. Staff can arrive early to help set up and get the grill ready. Sorry for the last minute change.

The beach is fun, but might be cold. I think vasona is a great idea. There is a fee for reserving picnic areas though... But if that's not an issue, let's do it!

Hello Staff, I checked into reservations at Vasona and it ranges from $165. - $240 or we can do a first come first served for free but small grill and 3 tables only. I say we go for the free. I will volunteer to be at the park by 8:00, if a couple staff want to join me that would be great. We would also need an additional BBQ, I can ask Hector and we can ask the team to bring extra tables and their own chairs. I can bring a tent. What do you think?? I think free is the way to go and we have extra tables to put the food on. Everyone can be a chair(s). I also have an extra BBQ. I live close and can be there early with you to get an area.

Hey Staff,

Wrap Up Party will be at Vasona Park on Oct. 5th @ 11:00am I will arrive early to reserve tables and BBQ. If anyone can bring a BBQ, tables, chairs, coolers with ice it would be greatly appreciated.We can only reserve 3 tables and one small grill. Bring your own booze if you want to drink or share

I will bring Carne Asada, and all paper goods including cups,one table and tent.

Staff: Meat to grill for 8-10,if you are bringing sausage or hot dogs please bring 3 packages per person. One person please bring veggie option

Mentors: You will be bringing meat or veggie option but your peeps will bring assigned items.

Please send out an email to your peeps to let them know what they should bring. Remind them there is limited seating so each family member should bring a chair. If they want to drink alcohol they will have to bring their own. I will send out email to let everyone know what site we are in when I arrive at the park that morning. There is a $6 parking fee

Teresa: Salads or Side Dishes

Vy: Condiments sliced and washed, and bread. If a person chooses bread please bring 3 packages of buns

Penny: Desserts and Fruit

Donna: Side Dishes, Chips and dips
