Some of you probably remember when we didn’t have lights or gauges or odometers and carried a siphon hose folded inside our tubular
Handlebars for emergencies .

If your fuel sender went bad, you can buy s pack of those thermistors for 8 bucks on Amazon and replace them.

So, I can't put a siphon hose in my handlebars since I have bar-end indicators. Never owned a Henderson but I did own a 1959 Excelsior.  I can't remember what I had for breakfast so I'm not going to trust myself  with remembering how many miles I have left. Besides,  when I act my age I get 48 MPG. When I'm feeling 35, I only get 30 MPG. Dawn I miss three way petcocks. I'll look for replacement thermistors.

Hey Steven:  Fred in Ptld OR here. Don't want to buy thermistors? Everyone has a smart phone, right? Put fill up mileage in "Notes." I used to write it on papyrus back when I knew Moses.  🙄

Only if they are as unaware and aggressive as that first one. From my angle at the stop light there was no way I could tell red from green. But would he listen? Noooooo. (end of rant)
