Bon Jour Ya'll,
My fuel level warning lights aren't working correctly on my 2006. Is there a way to fix this? I'm guessing it's bad thermistors. Can they be replaced? Can't afford a new fuel pump assembly.

Can't answer that but in the interim go by your mileage since your last fill and figure using your usual mpg..that might warrant a thanks Captain Obvious but it's the best I can come up with.

I think the fuel level thing is the same in a bunch of different
Suzukis, compare part numbers on the fiches.

Also, a used fuel pump from eBay is probably the cheap way to get a
replacement fuel sender.

It's been a while, but it's nice to see familiar names pop up here from my early SV days.  Still have my Blue 05.  Later acquired a 98 Honda Magna and manage fuel level as Don described.  I know how many mile per tankful based on how I am riding that day, but it does have a petcock that allows me to switch to reserve when I'm not paying attention to the odometer.

Just a thought re: Will's question - is there a relay that manages that fuel level circuit?  Just wondering if there is another source to that issue.  My memory is fading and I feel like I'm starting all over whenever I am repairing 'Ol Blue.  Fortunately, it's holding strong and have little to maintain other than oil, fuel, and tires.

I'm sorry, Don, but I did not see your post months ago.  My apologies, fellow SV'er.

I now have a little over 50k miles.  I know many of you here have done much more.  It was my daily rider (as well as 98 Honda Magna) until a recent retirement from the office.  I am looking forward to continue as much as I am able, but have to admit it's getting more challenging to put in the miles (both schedule-wise and body-wise).  It's all good and I still feel 'one' with Blue we get out on the road.  That's got to count for something.
