Hey all, mccorpsman here. I'm now 60 and Scarlett is almost 82,000. I just recommissioned her. New battery,  tires, fluid changes and a tank of alcohol free fuel. She had been off the road for almost a year.  Alcohol free gas gets more MPG than corn sqeezins. I got to 166 miles and started worrying.  I filled her up - 3.98 gallons. I would have thought my low fuel light would have come on by then. It flashes when I energize the ignition so I know it's not the bulb. I'm planning an iron butt in june and don't want to run out of gas. Thoughts?

strap a gallon jug of gas on the back, fill er up and see how far you get before running out. Use the gallon to get to a gas pump to fill up for the ride home..why mess with the sender when you can have a fun experiment?
