'06 Airbox

In a couple weeks I'm flying to St Louis, staying a week then riding Scarlett back (06 red naked) to Tampa. I plan on getting the fork legs powder coated black, getting the tinsel repainted "Cheap Hooker Lipstick Red", removing the airbox,  and changing my 2 into 1 into 2 into 1 exhaust into a 2-1-2. 

I know you have warned me about a possible HP loss, but I don't use all the ponies now and am at the age that I want a pretty bike that sounds awesome over the 5 MPH I might sacrifice.

All that being said, if you can offer any tips, I'd appreciate it.  Are there any sensors I need to jumper or bypass? Baffles or no? Velocity stacks with screens or small K&Ns? Remap my ECU or get a Power Commander?

At the end of summer I plan on riding her back to St Louis and mothballing her for my visits home.

Can't help you Steve but thanks for helping me know that even after  being out of the saddle for a few years I still understand the wrenching
