Hello everyone,
I hope everyone is well, and that winter has loosened her grip on Northeast Ohio. I talked to Jeannie a few weeks ago; a conversation that took me back to the Conneaut Arts Center and reminded me how fortunate I was that Mary told me about the class and got me going there.

Lazy has been my middle name for months and months, but talking to Jeannie did spark a little something, and I did a little writing - very little, but some. Anyway, I always enjoyed sharing my stuff with you folks and thought I'd share a little more. Down below you will find two triolets of recent vintage. I hope you enjoy them. And please feel free to send me copies of your stuff. I always enjoyed being able to listen to and read what others in the class wrote.

The Mean, Hairy Tarantula

The mean, hairy tarantula

Was fast asleep on granny’s bed.

Even with fangs just like Dracula,

That mean, hairy tarantula

Was no match for granny’s spatula.

She swatted twice; the spider fled.

That poor frightened tarantula

 Never returned to granny’s bed.

The Chameleon

The chameleon feels lackluster,

As he fades into every scene.

Because of his color adjuster,

The chameleon feels lackluster;

A dull lizard without bluster,

His matching colors have no sheen.

The chameleon feels lackluster

Fading into every scene.

I hope I haven't bored you. Miss you all, and thank you for all the good memories of Suz's writing class.
