Here I'll be telling you about upcoming events and releases, as well as giving you some behind the scenes sneak peaks into my writing life and my current works in progress. What's Happening?
Once again, I have lots of new and interesting things going on this fall.
First, I want to let you know a little bit about my very first Ellora's Cave release, Unholy Pursuits.
I love this book. Okay, I love all my books, but I *really* love this book. It was one of the first stories I had ever written, and it is the definition of the phrase “never give up”. It started out as a novella and was rejected by all the major epublishers at the time, including Ellora’s Cave. Frustrated, I buried it deep on my hard drive, determined that it would never see the light of day again.
Fast forward two years later.
I had six books under my belt, all with different publishers, but the characters of this story remained in the back of my mind. Darien in particular wanted me to give him a second chance. When I had a break in between novels, I decided to pull out my old, dusty novella to see if I couldn’t breathe new life into the story.
It was tough. I had learned a lot about my craft in two years, and realized how poorly the story was written. I was determined, however. My “quick polish” soon became extensive rewriting. Many late nights and cups of coffee later, Unholy Pursuits emerged in the form that you see it today. I love these characters like they are my own children, and I’m excited that they found a good home at the Cave. It’s my hope that as you read this story, you grow to love Darien, Arianne and their world as much as I do.

“Stop calling me that. You’re not making any sense,” Darien said. Nothing was making any sense. Why would she call him a deamhan? If only he could think past the throbbing in his skull. “What the hell is happening to me?”
“Look it up on one of those fancy FBI computers.” Arianne turned her back and then called out over her shoulder. “If you can keep your dick out of the barmaids long enough to Google it.”

Behind the Scenes
So, you've already bought all of these great books and want to know what comes out next, right? ;) Right now I'm working on edits for Velvet Steel, my first contemporary m/m/f erotic romance for Loose Id. That title will be coming out on January 17, 2012 and I will talk to you more about that at the end of the year. Yeah okay, I'll give you an exclusive excerpt, too. :) So stay tuned!
I'm also working on a follow-up to Unholy Pursuits, which I'm tentatively calling Unholy Cravings. Right now I'm in the drafting stage, but I can sum it up with one word - TWINS. If you read Unholy Pursuits, you know that the hero, Darien went down into hell with a pair of Eric Northman-looking twins. These men then disappeared at the end of the story. Well, they demanded their own book, lol. I'll talk more about this m/f/m book at the end of the year. For now, know that I have big plans for this world -- my Unholy Series. Lots of good stuff is going to happen. Just you wait!
And finally, for all of you Kyron pack fans, I've submitted the third book in the Kyron Pack series to my publisher. YAY! Now I'm waiting anxiously with you to see if they like it. I'm hoping to be able to give you another installment of these sexy werewolves in 2012.
