Once again, things got away from me this month. Stuff came up (I won't bore you with the details) and I've fallen a little behind on my writing goals. I'll talk more about that in the behind the scenes section. For now, I'm happy to report that I've been working with Em Petrova on our "Writing Sex When You Don't Feel Sexy" book. We've edited and revised the content, and I've given it a new cover. Check it out!
This book is now available at all major retailers. Go here to learn more!
I'm happy to say that I finished teaching my last class of the year in October. Now I get to focus on writing! Never fear, I'll be teaching classes again come January. Just go here for my 2013 schedule and to sign up for a class.

Behind the Scenes
The drafting of the fifth and final installment in the Ecstasy Spa series is done! It's now with my critique partner, Lauren Hawkeye, AKA content editor. Then it will be off to bestie Em Petrova, AKA content editor. Next,I'll do a read-through to catch any errors that may have slipped through the cracks. Finally, I'll format the manuscript and get it up so all of you can find out what happens to Celeste and the Spa. I can hardly wait to share it with you!
Ah, what the heck...since you are all subscribed to this newsletter, I'll give you an EXCLUSIVE excerpt so you can all be as excited about this story as I am. :)
Excerpt - Mind and Body
Celeste had danced for men before, many times. Early on in her career she had studied exotic dancers and men's reaction to them. She had even developed a few simple moves to help create an erotic atmosphere. It didn’t take her long to realize that she was good and creating sexual choreography inspired by various ethnic regions. The hungry expressions and tense bodies watching her spoke volumes. Most of the time, her clients would tackle her before she finished the routine.
Theo and Micah weren't clients, however. They were special. Knowing this made her nervous. She wanted to please them, and judging by the way they were settling in, they fully expected to get a good show. Celeste's nerves tingled as she went over an old dance routine in her head. It had been a long time since she had done anything like this--a few years at least. Could she remember all of the steps? She didn't know. She supposed that there was only one way to find out.
Celeste slipped out from behind the curtain. She had changed from her business attire to an ensemble made for seduction. When she was working, Celeste's signature service was the exotic sex slave. In order to play the part she had to be mentally prepared. She imagined that Theo and Micah weren't her lover and her obsession, but rather two sultans who wanted a little entertainment. She had been hired in order to provide them with the relaxation and stimulation they needed.
Soft music rose up from behind the curtain, and Celeste was thankful that the old recorder still worked. She could have spring for something more modern and reliable, but the stereo made this old-fashioned tinny sound that added to the ambiance.
Celeste raised her hands above her head and waited for her cue. She felt the men's stares on her body and knew that the red and gold scarves that covered her more private areas were well worth the investment. They were strategically placed to cover her nipples and her pussy, but little else. By the end of the song, they wouldn't even cover that. Instead they would be in a pile on the floor. With a little luck, she'd be on the floor as well...
Well, what did you think? Trust me, this is going to be good. ;)
So, over the next few weeks, here's what I hope to accomplish:
1) Make the "Ecstasy Spa, An Erotic Anthology, Part I" and "Writing Sex when You don't Feel Sexy" book available in print.
2) Finish "Mind and Body" and make it available for sale
3) Start working with a new cover artist and editor to make my Kyron Pack trilogy available in January 2013.
4) Finish drafting A Little Bit Daring, the sequel to A Little Bit Reckless.
I'm trusting that all of you will help me stick to my goals. :)
