Basara battle heroes came out recently and apart from being a fan addition to the psp,it was the first basara game to psp.Where am i going to?I'll tell you.When Basara first came out it was like capcom's answer to Samurai warriors,but it quickly grew along with the fanbase that supported it and now it's one of the best titles capcom has,but it's not only that.It still is the answer to Koei's warriors series in a fashion that 's a little strange.Like koei,when the first dynasty warriors came out it was a fighting game that probably noone would buy like Basara.Strangelly people wanted more of this game so,it was made a little more action oriented,from Dynasty warriors 2 and onwards(Samurai w included).But while fans are waiting for the latter games why not give them expansions like Empires,extreme legends etc(Basra 2 heroes).But then came the psp and fans wanted their favourite warriors gamws to the psp so they started realising their best games on the psp.The 2 first were flawed but the 3rd(State of war Samurai warriors)was a succes,despite the fact that the games were much inferior not only in gameplay with the "grid" system but also didn't feature voiceovers.(Basara Battle heroes).Then Koei thought : "Hey let's shake things up,let's make a crossover(warriors orochi),which had great success,and finally fans were able to fully enjoy a true Warriors game on psp even if it hadmanga-esque cutscenes.
My point?Basara 3 is probably in the making and it's going to be huge like Warriors Orochi and that means a chance to see a proper Basara game on the psp.Either that or there will be a Basara 3 Heroes for the psp with gaiden stages due to limitations of the umd.So here's hoping that capcom will make a proper basara game reality,even if it takes 1 or 2 years more.
I never said the contrary.On the other hand i said it's going to be a huge hit for it's genre like The first orochi(while SB3 won't be a crosover)so we will probably see this as the first proper basara psp game or if you [refer the first solid Sengoku Basara port for the psp.
