Utah Shakespeare Festival looking for a William Shakespeare – Bard’s Birthday Bash

Hello TDAA,

The Education Department is seeking a performer to portray William Shakespeare for an upcoming educational event, Bard’s Birthday Bash, taking place April 20–22. This role involves interacting with elementary students and speaking with them about Shakespeare and his work during a rotating program experience. As such we are looking for someone who is:

• Is confident working with large groups of elementary students

• Can engage and manage high-energy audiences

• Has a strong knowledge of Shakespeare and his plays

• Is comfortable performing as William Shakespeare

Event Dates: April 20–22 (finals week)
Daily Session Times:

• 9:00–11:00 AM

• 11:00 AM–12:30 PM

• 1:00–2:30 PM

Preference will be given to individuals available for all sessions across all three days, though those available for most sessions will still be considered.

Compensation is $15 per hour.
