[Callboard] 2nd Studio Board Applications and Production Proposals

Hello students of the Theatre, Dance and Arts Department!

My name is Norah Steverson and I am the upcoming Artistic Director for Second Studio, our student run theatre organization here on SUU's campus! 

We are in the process of finding new board members for the 2026-27 school year. Those positions include Production Manager, Managing Director, Showcase Director, Showcase Manager, Marketing, Outreach, and Archival. Descriptions for each of these positions are located in the form, but if you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out. These applications are not reserved for theatre students or upperclassmen, in fact, we encourage any and all to apply. Link Here: Board Applications. Applications are due February 14th, however we understand that many shows are either going up or just starting this weekend and many of you are busy! If you turn the application in later, that is just fine. 

On another note, we also have our Production Proposal link available here: Production Proposals  Any show or concept you have in mind, go ahead and pitch it! This is not an application for directing, so don't worry about having a specific concept for the actual production. We produce two shows a semester and there is no limit to the kind of theatre it is, Classical, Musical, Absurdist etc. Proposals are due February 16th, but the same rule stands as stated before. 

Second Studio is a great way to produce theatre from and for the students. We are so lucky to have the ability to create art that means something to us and develop connections within the artistic world. I look forward to seeing your submissions.
