We love that our festival participants reflect a wide spectrum of experiences, identities, and relationships to dance. Scholarships for the Bates Dance Festival are designed to support artists whose financial circumstances may limit their ability to attend.

BDF offers a limited number of full and partial-tuition awards to participants who demonstrate financial need, artistic commitment, creativity, and technical or performance strength. Room and board are typically not covered by scholarship awards.
