[Callboard] ACTOR CALL: Playwriting Club Staged Readings 4-13

Hello all! The Playwriting Club is excited to announce a staged reading on Monday, April 13th, in the SUU Black Box (AU 108)! We are currently looking for actors. A form to sign up as an actor can be found at the bottom of this email.

The plays we will be featuring this Monday are as follows:

TBD - Paige Eden: (I unfortunately lost the email containing some of Paige's scripts but will be selecting one that's going to be read at Monday's staged reading. Hence why the title at the moment is TBD)

Faith and Foley - Corey Erickson: An exploration of morality, faith, and trust when some very ordinary people are thrust into very extraordinary circumstances. When Francis is visited by an old friend, the lives of him and his housemates are forever changed by biblical circumstances.

Scythe (Unofficial Adaptation) - Anne Magee: Presenting the second half of Act 1! In a distant future where disease and death have been demolished, the fate of human beings has been thrown into the hands of other human beings known as Scythes. This portion of the script follows Citra and Rowan, two Scythe apprentices, as they navigate their training. (Unofficially adapted from the novel Scythe by Neal Shusterman)

If you'd like to act in the staged readings, please fill out the Google Form below. If you indicate a preference for which show you would like to be in, we will do our best to honor it (however, depending on cast size we can't guarantee you will all perform in the show of your choice). In the event that we receive more responses than the number of roles available, preference will be given to people who have never read a piece with us before. We will contact you Sunday night with your role and your script!
