Good Afternoon,

My name is Bree and I’m the Marketing and Communications Manager at Theatre Communications Group (TCG). We’re reaching out to you as a professional within the arts to share that we’ve opened this year's application for the Willa Kim Costume Design Scholarship. This is a valuable opportunity for current costume design students that we would love your help in reaching!

Recipients will receive up to $7,500 to be used towards tuition, registration fees, supplies and/or travel expenses to participate in extracurricular (non-credit) training in hand-drawing and/or painting over a one-year period between June 1, 2026 - May 31, 2027. Scholarship applicants should be enrolled and in good standing at a college, university or professional training program at the beginning of the scholarship period on June 1, 2026. Applicants enrolled in a related program such as fashion design are welcome as long as they can demonstrate commitment to working as a costume designer.
