Haiti garden work party

Ok young able bodied adults let's give our hands to a greater purpose and help make a visual awareness to our continued support of the Haiti Urban Garden Project by help built a tire garden on our grounds

After Service Sunday April 27th

This garden will be right next to the play ground and will grow healthy finger foods the kids are welcome to pick and enjoy.

The raised tire garden is what I learned to make in Haiti to keep goats out of the crops and for us it will keep the bunnies out. Also be a visual we can send back to our Hatian friends of our continued support dr them and their need for us to be their voice.

Please let me know if you can come or donate any of the following supplies - in the interest of repurposing and not buying

Needed:
6, 4-6ft lengths of 4in wide PVC pipes
2-4 bags of cement
3-6 truck tires
Piece of ply wood
Saw to cut PVC, wood
Machete
Post hole digger
1/2 to 1 yard of organic compost
or sand, dirt and chicken or horse manure to mix ourselves
Strawberry starts
Non GMO sunflower seeds
