Hi Everyone,

We came to find out that a half day of snowshoeing at Snoqualmie is from 1pm to 3pm, so we are going to meet at the shoe rental place at 12pm.  Feel free to bring a sack lunch or snacks to eat during the hike.

So to summarize:
10:45am- Meet at church to drop off kids and carpool if interested.
12pm- Meet at The Summit at Snoqualmie snowshoe rental.
1pm-3pm- Snowshoeing!!!!
4:30pm- Be back at church to pick up kids and go home.

Please RSVP as soon as possible so I can make sure we have enough childcare providers.  I'm having a little trouble with google groups, so when you reply, please also reply to lund...@gmail.com so I can compare notes.

Thanks!!!
Lisa

Here's the old email for notes:

Hi YAGgers!

This month's Young Adult Group Event will be Snowshoeing at Snoqualmie on Saturday, January 12th starting at 10am.  Snowshoeing really takes no skill at all (phew!).  The cost is $33 per person for snowshoes and a park trail pass for half a day.  Pack a lunch and we can eat on the trail at the turn around point.  Here is the website for rates and such...

I will request childcare to be held at church.  It may be difficult to find childcare for this event since there must be at least 2 childcare providers, and one of them must be an adult.  If we are unable to get childcare, I will let you know as soon as possible.

Please RSVP with the number of children you want childcare for and if you want to carpool from church.  Carpoolers can meet at church at 8:45am.

A big thank you to Aaron and Keigha for organizing this event!!!

Hi!  Is there a x-country ski trail there too?  We would love to go with if we could ski :)  Allison

Hello,

All the trails are snowshoeing or x country skiing.  Although it will cost you a little more to rent the skis then the shoes.  It looks like most of the trails are open now too so we should have plenty to chose from.

Keigha,

I just wanted to make contact with you. I would like to carpool if you are interested. I am going to meet you at the church in the morning. I think there is another person wanting to ride as well. Let me know what the options are.
Allison
