There has been a change to our November event plans that we discussed at the September Bonfire. Here is the new plan...
November Event: Potluck lunch and Games!
When: Sunday, November 18th from 11:45am to 2pm (immediately following the service)
Where: Church Sanctuary
Bring: A potluck dish to share and your favorite game!
RSVP: If you need childcare, email me at lund...@gmail.com with the names and ages of your children by Friday, Nov. 2nd
Our November event has traditionally been a tree-trimming party (setting up the Christmas tree in the Sanctuary at church). This year, this event will be an all-ages event as part of the new monthly Fellowship Nights. This month, Fellowship Night is on Wednesday, November 28th at 6pm. This includes dinner, a 15-minute worship, and then your choice of either the tree-trimming or an informational session on Spiral Scouts (an alternative to Girl/Boy Scouts for children age 3-18!). I have been to the first 2 Fellowship Nights and it has been wonderful! The food is delicious and there is a vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free option! The best part is it's not a potluck, so you don't bring anything! There is a suggested donation of $5/person or $10/family. I hope to see you there!
