The course aims to enhance the capacity of local decision
makers and urban and transportation planners to formulate and implement appropriate
transport demand management policies especially parking management
strategies so as to encourages more efficient use of existing parking
facilities. Parking demand management reduces the undesirable impacts
of parking on local and regional traffic and resulting impacts on
community liveability and design.
