How do you set stock levels?

When I go to a product it has a update stock button but no input area
to set values and when I click the button nothing seems to happen?

Also how do I get involved with helping develop this? Looks
interesting :)

Hi Andy,

Try using the new Stock Control add-in. Just build
Suteki.Shop.StockControl.AddIn, grab the
Suteki.Shop.StockControl.AddIn.dll and drop it in the website's bin
folder. Restart the web site and then when you go to the product page
as an administrator you'll see fields for updating stock levels and
viewing the history of a stock item.

Please do get involved :) I love getting bug reports and feature
requests. If you've got an actual fix, or a new feature, please send
me a patch.

It it would be useful to have a Suteki.Shop repository on GitHub, let
me know and I'll make it happen.

Thanks for trying it out,
Mike

Is it not built with the zip file here that you can download? I have
not modified a single thing currently.

Thanks,

Hi Andy,

No, it's in the trunk, if you can get the latest source and build it
yourself. The zip file is a somewhat older version.

Is the DB the same on the newest source or do you bundle an update
script for things like that?

Thanks,

Andi

No, the schema has changes between the last zip file release and the
trunk. If you are just experimenting and don't mind starting with a
new database, you can simply run Suteki.Shop.CreateDb.exe as per the
instructions on the home page. Otherwise you can find upgrade scripts
in the Database directory.
