Agroforestry and Pollinators Field Day

Hello everyone, it's been a long time since I've posted on here but I'm co-hosting a field day near Palmyra that I thought some people with SJ might be interested in. The event is at Brattsett Family Farm next Tuesday and it will focus on integrating tree crops into farms using agroforestry practices. We'll also be talking about herbaceous plantings and how they and the tree crops can provide pollinator habitat throughout the growing season. Various USDA programs that provide cost share for these plantings will also be discussed. Whether you're a land owner or simply interested in how farms can be more sustainable I suggest you come out.
