Hey all,

Our movement is winning & growing.

Just this morning, the Budget and Finance Committee of the University of Hawaii Board of Regents has just voted unanimously to move forward fossil fuel divestment efforts and have it be heard by the full BOR.

Passionate student, staff, faculty, & community testimony moved the regents to see how imperative this issue is for our generation and future generations.

Thanks to the nearly 500 people who submitted written testimony as well and to Brodie Lockard & all those from 350.org, GSO & the community for all its efforts in organizing this amazing campaign.

Onward to the full BOR. Stay tuned & stay inspired.

With aloha,
Doorae

Did you know that over a quarter of every tuition dollar students spend goes straight to pay the campus utility bill? UH Manoa spends about $40 million/year on electricity.
