I encourage you to submit for the Tenth Annual AASHE Sustainability Awards, the call just opened this week! 

In the past two years two winners were selected from within the UH System:

2014: Best Case Study from an Associate’s College with 5,000 or Fewer Full-Time Student: A Unique Hawaiian Learning Approach to Sustainable Living, Island-Wide, Helen Cox, Eric Knutzen, Laura Williams: Kauai Community College

2013: Student Research on Campus Sustainability Award (Graduate) – "Fostering Sustained Energy Behavior Change and Increasing Energy Literacy In A Student Housing Energy Challenge" – Robert Stephen Brewer, University of Hawaii at Manoa

Submit your application by June 11, 2015 in one of the following three categories:

Campus Sustainability Case Study Awards (4 awards)
Student Sustainability Leadership Awards (2 awards)
Student Research on Campus Sustainability Awards (2 awards)

Awards will be presented during the AASHE 2015 Conference & Expo opening ceremony on Oct. 25 in Minneapolis, Minn.

Award Winners Will Receive:

• One complimentary conference pass to AASHE 2015
• One invitation to a special reception during AASHE 2015
• Opportunity to present your winning case study at AASHE 2015 
• Inclusion in an AASHE Sustainability Awards feature in Sustainability: The Journal of Record
