Sustainable Sudbury Spring Bike TourSunday, May 18th, Starts at 1 PM
Meet at Haynes Elementary School Sustainable Sudbury is going for a bike ride! We'll take full advantage of the newly opened Bruce Freeman Rail Trail as we make some stops around town to highlight sustainable gardening practices, learn about invasive plants, and discuss the impact of solar power in our community.
All are welcome and come with the bike you have! Please join us whether you just want to come for the ride, get ideas about sustainable gardening, learn to identify and manage invasive species, or think about protecting our town’s natural beauty.
The planned loop is ~12 miles with regular stops. We are planning to finish up around 4:30 PM. We’ll be traveling as a group mostly on the protected rail trails and quieter roads with the goal of leaving nobody behind! Feel free to hop on and off as you like.
