As a Sudbury homeowner, the biggest, best thing that you can probably do to cut your greenhouse gas pollution is to switch from oil or gas fired heating to an electrical heat pump system. It's one of the best decisions that we ever made, my only regret is not researching it until my oil burner was on its last leg, and I was rushed so that I didn't choose a heat pump with a newer, more efficient/environmental refrigerant.
