Dear Sudbury Residents,

Great News!  All three Solar Articles, (33, 34 and 35), passed with large majorities at Town Meeting on May 5.  Everyone who voted should feel proud that they made the effort to attend TM and have their vote count. From one resident to another, THANK YOU.  It is so very reassuring to see the support that sustainability issues consistently have in Sudbury.  We can all be proud.

Also many thanks to Sandra Duran, Combined Facilities Director, for an excellent presentation; to all the members of the ESC, (Energy and Sustainability Committee), and especially Olga Faktorovich and Venk Gopal for making effective public comments; to Select Board member Radha Gargeya, for reminding us about how successful the LS solar canopy has been; and to high school students Aiyana Allen and Lucy Immonen, for letting their views be known.  And thanks to Sudbury residents for posting our lawn signs.  ALL these efforts mattered.
