Congratulations to Allison Densel, this year’s recipient of the Award for Environmental Leadership. A 2020 graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, Allison plans to attend University of Michigan in the fall. She received the award in recognition of her unique combination of talents and interests: a love of history with a desire to use it in service of environmental protection, activism in the fight against the Eversource high voltage power line, and volunteer work at the Sudbury Historical Society reviewing John Maynard’s meteorological observations.

The Sustainable Sudbury Award for Environmental Leadership was established in 2015 and is awarded annually to a graduating Lincoln-Sudbury senior in recognition of demonstrating, through academic and extracurricular interests and activities, commitment to Sustainable Sudbury’s mission of raising environmental awareness and sponsoring sustainable, earth-friendly activities in our community and beyond. Previous recipients include Grace Caltabiano, Katie Semple, Ceci Barnes, Sydney Merrill, and Nicole Garay.
