Sudbury, MA: Environmental organizations Fixit Clinic and Sustainable Sudbury announce they will be jointly holding a repair event at the Goodnow Library on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 11am to 2pm.
Local residents are invited to bring items that need repair or mending, such as small household appliances, clothing, jewelry, bicycles, lamps and wiggly, wooden chairs. Please RSVP at https://tinyurl.com/FixitClincRSVP.
The event will be held in the Goodnow Library (21 Concord Road, Sudbury) Community Room. It is open to both Sudbury residents as well as residents of surrounding towns.
The repair services are provided without charge. Attendees may be required to purchase materials and parts required to complete repairs.
Fixit Clinic teaches basic repair skills using a person's own broken items. By sharing these skills, the organization enables consumers to extend the life of many household items, contributing to sustainability.
Sustainable Sudbury is a volunteer-led non-profit based in Sudbury, Massachusetts dedicated to raising environmental awareness and sponsoring sustainable, earth-friendly activities in our community and beyond.
