Dear All,

I don't know if some of you will be here in Denmark or not or if you like to plan this far ahead.... but Friday the 3rd of June is a national holiday in Denmark and you will all probably have holidays from your internships as well so try planning well in advance - and book yourself to wherever you want to be in Denmark. It only costs 99 KR. for the WHOLE DAY and you can use the ticket for both to and fro.

These are highly sought after tickets and rest assured that the trains will be full on this day - no matter which train you get on in... so even if you cannot get a seat (you might still now) I can highly recommend that you book a ticket to go visit either Skagen (the Northern tip of Denmark - and see Denmark in a completely different light - see the meeting of the two oceans clearly visible by the mixing of the colors of two different seas) or the always visitable capital - Copenhagen.

Cheers
Rajiv

PS: the site is in Danish - but rather simple to follow I mean from, to, dates and times.. and then just keep clicking the green colored buttons (all default options are pretty standardised anyway) - and pay with your credit cards - danish or international.

Dear All,

I just wanted to remind you all of the fantastic opportunity to see Denmark on Friday the 3rd of June with DSB - tickets are still available... apparently...
I know that Enoch has reserved his ticket from Copenhagen to Frederikshavn (the last station up in North Jutland where one can reserve an orange ticket - a 6 hour train ride for only 99Kr. 1 way)

No matter where you travel from and where you go ... all tickets that day are being sold at 99Kr. So if you want to see Skagen (up north) or Copenhagen down south East (comparison is from Aarhus) or even visiting the Danish-german border of Padborg (and indulge in cheap German store shopping) or the Shakespearean Hamlet city called Helsingor (north of Copenhagen) it is a great day to do so (and with DSB usually an expensive option - it doesnt get better than this)

Cheers all and hope you all are having fun in your internship wherever you are...

Best Regards
Rajiv

PS: If you all are doing an internship you probably know this already... but the 2nd of June is a national holiday (called Ascension) as well - so Thursday the 2nd is a national holiday - Friday the 3rd is not - but next to half of all danes take a holiday so that they get an effective long weekend break from Thursday to Sunday.
