Hi Everybody,
This is Vivian, I hope all of you are doing well!
I have some tips about our upcoming Shanghai study tour, I hope you can have a look.
1) Cloth: The temperature in Shanghai is higher than Aarhus. During the days, it is usually hot, so T-shits will be enough. But I suggest you bring a thin sweater or jacket in case of changes of weather.
2) Food: It is basically cheap to eat in restaurants and I think most of you will like traditional Chinese food. But never eat street foods since they are too "local" and "authentic" for your stomach. There are also lots of real fancy restaurants, the average price will be 150-300RMB/person which I think is quite fair and worthwhile.
3) Transportation: Personally, I think transportation in Shanghai is very convenient. Subway connect the whole city and taxi are everywhere and cheap. But if you want to walk around the city, I suggest you bring a card or map..at least you need to know the address of our hotel. And you should try not to go out during "transportation peak time". Since during those periods, the only thing you can see in Shanghai is people with their cars.
4) Entertainment: Shanghai has very wonderful nights and choices of entertainments, e.g Bar street in HengShan Road or restaurants in XinTiandi. But don't get too lost! (special tip for guys ;o)
If you have any doubts or questions regarding to this tour, you can send me emails and I would like to answer.
Have a nice easter holiday!
