Hi All,
Rosie is graduating with her degree in environmental studies in May and is ready to save the planet. Any ideas for jobs/internships for her? Thanks all!

Please send this email or reasonable facsimile to your local friends. Let's have a big turnout of folk who will sign up. We need to show them how to do it...maybe even walk them through the process at the library.

Subject: Want to save money every month on your electric bill?

Hi friends and family
This is a great way to help create more solar farms and to get a monthly discount on your NYSEG bill. I did it and it works...so easy. Come learn about it this Saturday at the Lewisboro library at 2:30 pm. It's called Community Solar and NO.. YOU DONT HAVE TO BUY AND INSTALL SOLAR PANELS.
Who doesnt want a lower electric bill? PS Heather Lackey..please post for me on Voices Rising. It is sponsored by my sustainability committe and presented by one of my committee members.
Thanks!

NYSERDA has an internship program which is available to recent grads. The aspiring intern can sign up at

to get on the list. Companies/orgs than can access the list and hire the interns at minimum wage ($15/hour) and then NYSERDA reimburses 90% of that.  We have had a number of such interns work here at Sustainable Westchester. I'm not sure exactly where we'll be on that at that time, but she can certainly send her resume to me.

NYSERDA has its own internship opptys in Albany and NYC as well:
